Broderbund Gives Glimpse at Myst Sequel
Extension to Myst is due in summer, 1997.
Myst fans got an inkling of the much anticipated sequel to the number
one multimedia game ever created when developers Broderbund Software
and Cyan revealed a few new key facts about the much anticipated
title.
Said to be an extension to Myst, the game is called Riven and should
be available in the summer of 1997. Like Myst, at least part of the
story takes place on a series of islands. Beta versions should start
to rollout early this spring. More than that developers won%squott say.
Still they have released a couple of early screen shots. We%squotve

A suspended catwalk takes the player deeper into the surrealistic world or Riven, the sequel to the CD-ROM blockbuster Myst, due out this summer.
