Windows XP: Do You Love It? Hate It?
A PCWorld.com Poll: Speak up about your Windows XP experience.
For an upcoming article on Microsoft's new operating system, we'd like to hear about your experiences, especially if you upgraded (or tried to upgrade) from a previous version of Windows.
We'll need to know:
- Why did you you decide to upgrade? Which version of XP
did you choose? Did you upgrade a work or home PC?
- Did you perform a
conventional upgrade or a clean install? Did you go with a dual-boot
configuration?
- Before you upgraded, did you run Microsoft's XP Upgrade
Advisor or any other compatibility test? What did it find?
- How did the
upgrade go? Were there any unusual problems during the upgrade
process?
- What, if any, hardware or software compatibility
issues--expected or unexpected--arose?
- Did you stick with Windows XP?
Would you upgrade again?
If you're willing to have your name (and possibly your photograph) in PC World, please give us your daytime phone number for a possible follow-up interview. E-mail us at newstips@pcworld.com.
