EIZO Nanao 15 /14.9V LCD 29MM 1024X768 L365-BK DVI-I W/ DVI TO VGA (EIZO Nanao-L365BK)

Eizo Nanao FlexScan L365

WHAT'S HOT: The FlexScan L365 did a fine job of rendering both the text and graphics screens we use in our tests, displaying sharp text that was easy on the eye and realistic colors in photos and other images. The all-black front and narrow bezel add to the stylish exterior look. The on-screen menu makes configuring the monitor easy, and you can speedily switch between the digital and analog video inputs with a button on the front of the bezel.

WHAT'S NOT: While the all-black case of our review model looks sophisticated, it makes reading the embossed black-on-black button labels rather difficult. If you prefer traditional gray, you can buy the L365 in that color as well. The black model we reviewed is not TCO '99 compliant, but the gray one is.

The L365 is on the expensive side: At $510, it is one of the priciest monitors on our chart.

WHAT ELSE: This model comes with both digital and analog video inputs, but only an analog cable is bundled; the company will supply a digital cable to those with a proof of purchase who request it. The two built-in speakers produce reasonable sound, though the volume is a little low and lacks bass.

UPSHOT: For those who want a stylish display for small spaces and who don't mind paying a bit extra, the FlexScan L365 will be a good choice.
