In a move to kick-start development, Apple has announced a series of iPhone developer talks across the US.

The iPhone Tech Talks take place in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York in August and are free to members of the Apple Developer Connection.

Attendees will be given in-depth technical information on how to optimize their Web 2.0 applications and content to exploit Apple's fast-selling device.

The sessions are split between morning presentations and demonstrations and actual hands-on development workshops, were Apple experts will help developers improve and test their solutions.

Topics confirmed for the morning sessions include: Safari/iPhone compatibility, Web 2.0 application development, managing content and synched data on an iPhone.

Registration is required.
