Sonnet Technologies on Wednesday introduced the Tango Express 800, a PCI Express (PCIe) expansion card that features both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 interfaces. It costs $129.95.

The Tango Express comes with three FireWire 800 ports and three USB 2.0 ports - two of the USB 2.0 ports are external, and one is internal. The card plugs into the PCIe expansion slots found on Mac Pros, Xserves, and later-model Power Mac G5 systems. It also works with Windows PCs.

The Tango Express 800 can operate in FireWire target disk mode, according to Sonnet, so you can use it if you want to transfer data directly from the Mac it's installed in to another Mac.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later.
