Ecamm Network has updated Call Recorder, its add-on for the popular Voice over IP (VoIP) service Skype. A free update for registered users, Call Recorder costs US$14.95.

Call Recorder lets you record calls you make or receive using Skype. You can record files in H.264 and AAC format, covert calls to MP3 files or use uncompressed audio for maximum quality, add time index notes and record Skype Video sessions, too. A demo is available.

Changes in the new 2.3.1 update include important compatibility improvements for users of Skype for Mac 2.7. Also new in this release is an updated Movie Tools, with two new tools: Split Sides of Conversation and Convert for Internet. Other minor fixes and enhancements have also been made.

Call Recorder requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later and Skype for Mac 1.4 or later.
