When Lenovo's 7-inch Android tablet launched last year, we dubbed the initial 2GB IdeaPad A1 a bargain. But now models with much more storage capacity are available, and they're great deals. For example, Lenovo has been selling the 16GB IdeaPad A1 for $199 with an eCoupon--but Newegg.com has it for even less, only $190 with free shipping.
New Low: Lenovo IdeaPad A1 16GB Tablet, $190
HTC One X Android Phone, $129
![]()
HTC's recently launched One X Android phone inspired deep feelings in our reviewer, who declared his love in a four-star review. Normally the smartphone costs $200 with a new AT&T contract, but at the moment AmazonWireless is selling the One X for only $129--and the offer stands for current AT&T subscribers as well as new accounts.
Dell Inspiron 14z Laptop Plus Adobe Software, $480
Dell's Inspiron 14z isn't exactly inspired, says our reviewer, but it is a light, attractive laptop that offers good performance for the price. The 14-inch laptop sold for about $600 when it came to market last October. Right now, though, Dell Online has dropped the price for an Intel Core i3 model to $480 (with free shipping), and it's throwing in Adobe's top-notch Adobe Elements image editor and Premiere Elements video editor.
Rugged Pentax Optio WG-2 Camera, $289
![]()
The 16-megapixel Pentax Option WG-2 is waterproof, dustproof, can withstand temperatures well below freezing--and comes in sporty colors. It launched at $350 in February, but you can get it for only $289 at Abe's of Maine with a $49 instant rebate and a coupon code (LOYALTY10) that takes another $10 off at checkout. Use coupon code FREESD32 to add a free 32GB SDHC memory card if it's not automatically included. (You may need to search for the WG-2 at the vendor's site.)
$100 Off Alienware X51 Gaming PC
Alienware's X51 gaming PC delivers impressive performance in a compact package, and it earned an equally impressive 4.5 of 5 stars in our review. The Intel Core i7 model starts at $1147--but you can save $100 at Dell's checkout if you use coupon code 69J9NR44TMZ6V2.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-Inch Android Tablet, $220
Samsung's recently released 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 received a positive review from our tablet expert, Melissa Perenson, who considers it a good buy for first-time tablet purchasers. The Galaxy Tab 2 runs Android 4.0, which means it can run standard Android phone and tablet apps. The Galaxy Tab 2 usually sells for $250, but Macmall is currently selling it for only $220 on eBay--and shipping is free. Note that while the tablet is available as I write this, supplies are limited.
Samsung MV800 16.1MP Compact Camera, $158
![]()
Our camera expert called the 16-megapixel Samsung MV800 "part touchscreen camera, part book." The back of the camera features a 3-inch LCD that flips up on hinges to aid with self-portraits and odd-angle shots--and it can also act as a built-in tripod. The MV800 listed for $280 when it launched last September, and these days the price has dropped to about $200-250 online. B&H Photo has a great deal online at the moment--only $158, with no tax and free shipping.

Barnes & Noble Nook Color, Simple Touch E-Readers, $20 Off
![]()
Barnes & Noble is gearing up for the release of its $139 Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight (which our reviewer practically did backflips over, awarding an amazing 4.5 of 5 stars), so perhaps it is no surprise that the e-book seller is dropping the price on its Nook Simple Touch and Nook Color readers--albeit for a limited time. Head to the Barnes & Noble site by Mother's Day and you'll pay only $79 for the Simple Touch and $149 for the Nook Color (which is also an Android tablet).

Toshiba Qosmio X770 17-Inch, Core i5 Laptop, $999
![]()
Toshiba launched its high-end Qosmio line of gaming and multimedia laptops last year. The Qosmio x770 has a 17.3-inch 1080p high-def display and runs a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M graphics processor with 1.5GB of graphics memory. Toshiba usually sells the Intel Core i5 version of its premium laptop for about $1340--but for a limited time Toshiba has the Qosmio x770 on sale for only $999, and shipping is free.

New Low: Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet (16GB), $340
Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet aims directly at business users. Its bulky utilitarian design probably cost it half a star, though; our reviewer gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The tablet has a 10.1-inch screen and runs on Android 3.1 Honeycomb; it's packed with ports, including USB 2.0, a dock connector, a micro-USB port, a Mini-HDMI connector, media card reader, and SDHC Card and SIM card slots. The 16GB version launched at $499 last year, and just a couple months ago it sold for about $400 online--but right now ANT Online is selling it for only $340, with free shipping.

HP Omni 27 All-in-One Core i5 PC, $1000
HP's Omni 27 all-in-one desktop PC has a gorgeous 27-inch screen and runs on Intel's Core i5 processor. Though its performance was impressive, it earned only 3.5 out of 5 stars in our review--mainly because the Omni 27 does not have a touchscreen display and its integrated graphics faltered a bit with games. Normally HP sells the Core i5 configuration for $1350, and our review model came in at $1250. Use coupon code DTE3284 at Dell's checkout, however, and you'll pay only $1000--with free shipping.

Samsung UN46D8000 46-Inch 3D HDTV, $1579
Samsung's UN46D800, a 46-inch 3D LED HDTV, earned 4.5 out of 5 stars in our review last year for its top-notch image quality, outstanding features, and good color in 3D scenes. As much as our reviewer liked it, however, she took issue with its $2700 list price at the time. Prices have dropped, though, and for a limited time Abe's of Maine is selling the UN46D800 for $1579, with free shipping.
