MarketBuddy Marketing Software Updated

Excel Software has upgraded MarketBuddy for Mac OS X and Windows to v.1.1.

The update to the cross-platform marketing software increases contact capacity to 100,000 records, reduces memory requirements and optimizes performance.

The Site License edition adds new commands for the management of large groups of contacts, and introduces support for multiple databases and multiple users.

Software Marketing Contacts is a new contact list that can be imported into MarketBuddy to market any software product.

Additional features include the capacity to post news to press release distribution sites, the ability to list products in web directories and the a feature that allows web forms and trial software editions to be easily uploaded to software distribution sites.

"Marketing activities that once required days of effort can now be completed in hours with greater accuracy," the company claims.

The software costs US$195.
