Kingston Flash Drive Hits 64GB

Kingston, renowned for its memory products, has started shipping a new range of high-capacity USB flash drive. DataTraveler 150 is available in two capacity model: 64GB and 32GB. The 64GB model is the largest in Kingston's entire DataTraveler line.

The beefed up storage should offer users the option of not just backing up important hard drive contents, but also the flexibility to transport entire music libraries, video and photo collection, and other documents in one convenient device. It comes in a pocket-friendly size, with following dimensions: 3.06" x 0.9" x 0.47" (77.9mm x 22mm x 12.05mm). Early user reviews of the product claim it offers fast 'read' speeds.

DT150 is compatible with Windows Vista (no support for Windows ReadyBoost yet), Windows XP (SP1, SP2), Windows 2000 (SP4), Mac OS X 1.3 or higher, and Linux with Kernel 2.6 and above. It connects via USB port.

The DT150/64GB is priced at US$177 (approximately Rs. 8830), and DT150/32GB at (approximately Rs. 5785). Both come with a five-year warranty and 24/7 tech support.
