SpiderOak on Wednesday introduced a new syncing service for users of multiple cross-platform computers that want to sync documents, photos and other types of media.

The sync service provides users of the Mac, Windows and Linux systems to set up an umlimited number of sync routines between two or more locations. It does the sync without changing the folder structure on any of the computers.

The synced information can be on desktop computers, laptops, external hard drives, network drives or any combination of those devices.

SpiderOak says your files will remain safe with its 'zero knowledge' data encryption plus perpetual file and version storage that ensures access to older and even deleted files at any time.

SpiderOak Sync, which includes backup, storage, sync, file sharing and remote file access from any Internet-enabled device, is free for the first 2 GBs, and costs $10 a month from 2 to 100GB. There is an additional cost of $10 a month for each additional 100GB increment for an unlimited number of devices.
