Target Starts Selling Apple IPad From Today

US retail giant Target, will start selling Apple's popular iPad in stores from today, Monday 4 October 2010.

Target showed off the iPad at the weekend, with electronics team member Chetna Parikh commentating: " We hope to sell a lot more later this week, once people are more aware that we carry it."

Target joins Apple and Best Buy stores in selling the iPad in the US, with Target store credit card holders enjoying a 5 per cent discount on the tablet device. Target will stock all six versions of the iPad.

Target hopes the addition of the iPad will help drive traffic to its stores this "holiday season." Target already offers a range of iPad, iPhone and Apple accessories.
