HP's Envy 17 3D earned an amazing 4.5 out of 5 stars in our review. The 8-pound laptop plays Blu-ray movies--both 2D and 3D--and its speakers are excellent. The base configuration is currently on sale for $1600, but for a limited time HP is selling the Envy 17 3D for $1295, with free shipping. RIM's 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook initially lacked a dedicated email client or support for Android apps, which led to lackluster reviews (read our review for details). Recently, though, RIM announced an upgrade to the PlayBook OS that adds email, contacts, and calendar applications; an updated home screen; and support for Android apps. Once that upgrade hits devices, the PlayBook may well become a player in the tablet market. Right now you can grab a 64GB version of the 7-inch device at Newegg.com for only $299 (with free shipping)--about $50 less than other deals I've seen online.
Aliph's Jawbone Icon line of Bluetooth headsets are stylish and slim, with sexy names like Hero, Rogue, and Ace. When we reviewed the basic Jawbone Icon a while back, we gave it 4 out of 5 stars for its customizability and voice-activated interface. When the Icon line launched, the headset listed for about $100. The price has dropped since and you can find models for $70 to $80 online. Right now, though, Best Buy has a fantastic deal on a Jawbone Icon Hero: only $29, with free shipping.
The HP Envy 14 is a powerful, attractive laptop, earning an enthusiastic review by PCWorld's Jason Cross. The laptop's aluminum body is attractive and rigid, and performance is fantastic for a mid-size all-purpose system. HP normally sells the base configuration--with an Intel Core i5 CPU, 6GB RAM, and a 500GB hard drive--for about $1000. Use coupon code NBQE3876 at HP's checkout, though, and you pay only $800 with free shipping.
The Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR sits at number 6 on our Top 10 Pocket Megazooms chart, and it got there by virtue of its high-end features: high-speed video and burst modes, RAW and JPEG shots, GPS functionality, and more. (Read our review for details.) The FinePix F550EXR sold for $350 when it was released about a year ago, but now it's available for much less. Check out Amazon.com, for example, and you'll find it for only $203.
At only 2.4 pounds, Toshiba's Portege Z835 was the lightest Ultrabook on the market when we reviewed it a couple months back. It's got a classy design, and has plenty of ports and nice perks like an "Eco Mode" button. We tested a poorly performing Intel Core i3 version of the Portege Z835, and even with its slow performance we thought it was a good deal at $800. For a limited time, for the same price you can get a much speedier Core i5 model with a roomy 640GB hard drive, 6GB of memory, and more. Go to the Toshiba site to review the specs and get the deal. Shipping is free.
