Description of Microsoft Office 2000 Update
Rather than install Microsoft Office patches one by one, do it all in one fell swoop with this download. Microsoft Office 2000 Update includes the Excel 2000 SYLK file security updates, the Worm.Explore.zip (Pack) Virus Alert, and the ODBC Vulnerability Update. Office 2000 system-level components are also updated to Windows 2000 system levels.
This update adds only Registry Repair to the original SR-1 Update package, so if you've already installed the SR-1a update and have not upgraded from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000, you do not need this utility. If you have upgraded from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000 and have already installed the SR-1 update, you should only install the Office 2000/Windows 2000 Repair Utility.
