Lights! Camera! Action! Homage! Invite plasma-gun toting neighbors to your next house party with Predatoric 2, a homage to the Thomas brothers' intrepid armored alien. Think billboard, not flyers. This is a font that hunts big game.
Designer Gene Buban revisits his earlier design Predatoric, stretching Fontstruct angles to the extreme to produce a top-up, bottom-down fade within each character. The effect creates a shimmer in Predatoric 2 not unlike active camouflage in flux. This download arrives with 70 characters. Upper and lowercase share similar forms so it's best to think in caps with Predatoric 2 (as if screaming weren't your only option). Basic punctuation is included, not that you'll have time to come to a full stop once the action starts.
Here's a caveat: You have the license to make killer communications for non-commercial use only. Keep it personal unless you invite the designer in.
Ahem...guests forgetting their manners? Buban has graciously embedded the Predator self-destruct sequence in his creation. If you manage to make it to your keyboard, type [ ] { } to remind your guests who's boss.
Note: To use this font, unzip the folder and install the .ttf file in the folder C:\Windows\Fonts. Note that the font won't appear in your applications until you close and re-open them.
