Description of Extension Manager
Sometimes a virus or worm may masquerade as a harmless file by hiding its actual file extension, leaving you in the dark about the type of file that you're opening. Extension Manager reveals hidden file extensions, including those that are usually only viewable by tweaking the Registry. Extension Manager lists seven of the most commonly used file extensions, including .PIF, .SHS and .LNK.
