Editorial Review of Cathy

Cathy is a super-small, super-fast cataloguing tool suitable for cataloguing fixed drives or removable media, both old and new, including USB drives, CDs, DVDs, flash cards, old Zip and Jaz drives, even floppies and LS120 SuperDisk drives.

The Search function will search by name, date, or file size. You won't believe how fast it finds things. The program does not need to be installed to work; the executable can sit on a portable drive and travel with you. A detailed user's guide to Cathy is also available.

Dissatisfied with the cataloguing programs that were available at the time, Robert Vasieek of Slovakia created this program in 1998 for his personal use. Since then, Cathy has picked up a devoted following. If you like the program, Vasieek asks you to consider sending a postcard to his daughter, Jana.
