Editorial Review of DropIt

Note: This review addresses v1.5 of the software.

What it DropIt does is, quite simply, a work of genius for one's file hierarchies. The app creates a single folder on your desktop--an Inbox, if you will--that you'll use as a giant processing hub for all of your files. It's kind of like a chute for data: Using the rules you set up within the app (e.g. Move all MP3 files to my Music directory), it'll automatically sort and dump everything you send its way into the proper place on your hard drive.

Note: This program is donationware. It is free to try, but the author accepts and encourages donations towards further development.
