Description of Freezer

Step away from your computer with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that no one else can access your sensitive files. Freezer locks your PC based on user-defined variables such as amount of time idle, a hot-key, CD-ROM insertion, and specified executables running.

Protection can be turned on and off easily with a user-specified hot-key. Also, others can leave you a message when your PC is locked. Detailed logging of invalid password trials and locking activities are kept in a safe database that can be exported to Word, Excel, HTML, and Clipboard. Freezer does not affect your screen-saver settings, and the protection remains in force when your screen saver is activated. When your PC is locked, only a password screen accepts user inputs, and your desktop can be hidden from others. All the Freezer's settings can be managed from the Control Center, which resides in your system tray and can be activated by a mouse click with your password.
