Description of PocoMail
Now you can prevent viruses from using e-mail as an on-ramp to your hard drive. Unlike many other e-mail applications, PocoMail uses an internal HTML viewer--not the Internet Explorer component--to preview your HTML messages. Since this internal viewer omits support for both VBScript and JavaScript, which are commonly used to write e-mail viruses, it won't be infected by such viruses. In addition, PocoMail can launch your virus scanner automatically on any attachment received, or you can specify certain file types that initiate your virus scanner.
Among PocoMail's other features are multiple e-mail account support, message queuing, message templates, and a spelling checker. You can send photos or graphics by embedding images into an e-mail message.
The Show Only bar is unique to PocoMail. Simply select the criteria for your lookup and type in the text you are seeking. PocoMail will isolate the messages you need and tag them (they appear on a light blue background under default color settings).
PocoMail supports multiple address books, with drag-and-drop functionality. Just double-click on addresses in the list to send a message, or select them from the pop-up address picker while you are composing the message. You can also store general information for entries, such as telephone numbers and postal addresses.
