Here's the scenerio: It's early evening, you need to back up your system or network, and you have a 7:00 p.m. dinner reservation. You could always leave your PC on all night, but that's dangerous: After all, anyone can come into your office after you leave, or before you arrive the next morning, and access all your private files.
