Duration of ownership: 3 Months
Strengths: Low processor use, low memory use, fast scan times, ability to set subsequent scans to not scan files that have not changed since last scan.
Weaknesses: Nothing
Overall Evaluation: Superior software that has just been released after an update from Vipre Premium.

Strengths: Small Program size and low ram useage,FREE Customer Support w/ Remote Help for tough case's
Weaknesses: The deep scan is so complete it best to set to run at night.
Overall Evaluation: Its Great, have it on all home and office computer. I clean other peoples computers of Virus and Adware and I never had someone bring one to me that Uses Viper, but get Norton and Mcafee Computer all the time and suggest to folks they switch to Viper.

Strengths: Very low resource usage, Fast scan times, Best FREE support of any software I have ever used,Simple to use interface, Great firewall & easy to configure.
Weaknesses: None to date
Overall Evaluation: This company treats you like family. I beta tested V4 for it's development cycle & all input from beta testers was acknowledged & implemented as it was practical to do so. The interface is easy to master, updates & revisions are included in the license agreement & are almost seamless. I have personally installed Vipre on over 20 machines & never had a complaint or a problem from the license holders. Vipre Internet Security V5 is on all 3 of my personal computers.

Duration of ownership: 3 Years
Strengths: WAS system resource useage - new version seems to use much more than before.
Weaknesses: Product upgrades are poorly tested and create many problems for a variety of users. This is simply unaccaeptable.
Overall Evaluation: I haven't had a virus infection since I began using Vipre, but cannot give vipre all the credit since I am an experienced techie and take other precautions as well.

Strengths: Speed, simply catches everything, customer support
Weaknesses: No parental controls
Overall Evaluation: Very simple to use and has many different subscription levels... the best one is the lifetime subscription.

Strengths: very low system resources usage (cpu)(ram). Updated 4-6 times a day so nothing sneaks by. Best technical support there is of any software product.
Weaknesses: Not a single one have i found in years of using Vipre.
Overall Evaluation: Had tried them all since my first computer back in the days of the first tandy computer. Rest use a lot of system resources where you can kiss 20% of your cpu goodbye. With Vipre you lose so little you wonder if it's working but rest assured it is. It has caught every single threat that ever tired to find it's way in my computer.
