You can find your images and video clips by browsing a folder structure that's similar to Windows Explorer, using a comprehensive search function, or accessing a Calendar View that lets you view photos by the date they were taken. Once you find them, you can edit the still images in a variety of ways, or trim unwanted sections from video clips. The program offers a wide range of export possibilities as well.
Is this Swiss Army-knife approach successful? The wide variety features may be more than some people need, and the oddly limited editing tools may frustrate some users. But the program is only $30, and there is a free trial--so you'll want to try it out for yourself.
Note:You'll need to register at Ulead's site in order to download the trial version.
