The Web is strewn with free pictures for you to use for your Web site, flyers, and calendars. Problem is, most search engines are for finding text. MediaSpyder is an image search engine that saves you the time spent searching for graphics by traditional methods. After you choose the image's category (animals, GIF animations, icons, and so on), type in an optional search phrase, and press Go. MediaSpyder then finds images and downloads them directly to your hard drive. The included media viewer lets you view the images by thumbnails, create slide shows and wallpaper, and print your graphics. A password lock-out option prevents access to searches for adult-related material.
A built-in version and news checker makes sure you are using the latest version and aware of the newest developments.
