Description of Directory Compare

If you want to compare the contents of two directories, you can always open up two versions of Explorer, but if you'd like to streamline the process--and avoid the headache of tracking what's what--you might give Directory Compare a try.

The program not only compares the contents of two directories but lets you synchronize them, as well. You'll see the files listed in two side-by-side grids; you can then open, delete, copy, and move files from any directory to another. Various filters can limit the listings to files in which you're interested. Finally, you can print your directory listings and/or export them to comma-delimited files.
