And you thought instant messaging and ICQ were cool. The Evil Empire takes Internet messaging to the next level with Windows Messenger. Messenger lets you make voice calls or have video conversations from your computer to a phone anywhere in the world. If you prefer typing, you can also see who's online and exchange instant messages. Chat with individuals or up to four people at once. If you have a video camera installed, you can communicate just like the Jetsons. And if you're incapable of expressing emotion via typed or spoken words, there's a slew of colorful emoticons you can fall back upon.
