Description of GetDataBack

D'oh! Accidentally deleted a file? GetDataBack is data-recovery software that will recover lost data under almost any disaster scenario imaginable. If you have a damaged hard drive, virus attack, formatted drive, power-failure-related system crash, software failure, or accidental deletion, GetDataBack comes to the rescue. GetDataBack can even recover your data when the drive is no longer recognized by Windows, even if all the directory information is missing. The software guides you through five easy-to-understand steps, giving you opportunity to intervene in the recovery and improve the results. You can examine the scan log, file-system details, file and directory information, and select the sector range to be scanned.

This new version lets you recover files over your local network or a serial cable. This can be very useful when it's difficult to remove the troubled drive.
