Editorial Review of SystemInfo

SystemInfo is a great way to get a quick but comprehensive look at your hardware makeup. This small, free utility offers a great deal of information about your system, including everything from your processors to your BIOS, to your Windows network and more.

Run the SystemInfo program, and it immediately displays the information, nicely laid out, with categories of information on the right, and the information itself on screen on the left.

Hardware geeks will be pleased; it reports on the number of processors, processor type and name; speed; and more. It also displays information such as your machine name and user name, total memory, used memory, and free memory. The BIOS section lists the maker of your BIOS, the BIOS version, and BIOS date. And the hard disk section shows you more than you'll ever want to know about your hard disk.

All in all, SystemInfo is a very useful program for anyone who wants a closer look at their system.
