Description of Check Identical Files

If your computer has enough duplicate files to get you singing the Patty Duke theme, it's time to get rid of some of those identical files. Check Identical Files does just what it says: it checks your disks or selected folders for identical files and offers a way to delete them. Whether digital photos, sound files, temp files or data files, chances are duplicate files are wasting a lot of space on your drive. Check Identical Files lets you determine which folders you want to check, find identical files, select the files you want to delete, and delete them. The program prevents you from accidentally deleting every instance of a file, preserving at least one of the duplicates.
