Direct Connect bills itself as a community-oriented, open, user-controlled network built on the peer-to-peer paradigm. Users run, control, and maintain the network and are able to share any type of file with absolutely no restrictions.

You view the files through a familiar organized Explorer-like interface. Advanced searching capabilities and filters are provided. All of these features are integrated into Direct Connect's communal file-sharing system. MP3's, images, movies, games, and more. Let the sharing begin.
