Description of Roadkil's CPU ID
How can you be sure your second-hand Pentium-600 system really sports a Pentium 600 chip? CPU ID displays all the available information about your computer's central processor, including model number, processor family, cache size, clock speed, and manufacturer codename. The information is obtained by analyzing the processor itself as well as performing independent tests on it. (Some information, such as processor codename, transistor count, socket type and die size are listed from internal lookup tables.)
