  Duration of ownership: 2 Years

  Strengths: I use every feature of avant to the fullest. I have about 15 different quick searches and about 30 url aliases. This was the main feature that got me using avant, in addition to very quick new-tab opening.The other huge thing I liked was that if I ever installed a new OS my avant online account remained intact and the browser and bookmarks and settings remained exactly the same on all of my systems.

  Strengths: It's faster to load, faster to load web pages and seems VERY stable. Buttons on tool bar helps with common tasks and the whole program has a nice clean look to it. It is easy to customize and I loved the way it used all my IE favorites etc.

  Weaknesses: thare is no to link to apply gmail account having only yahoo msn

  Duration of ownership: 3 Years

  Strengths: Best interface of any browser. Ability to block ActiveX, Java, Images, Scripting, Flash, and more on the fly. Built in pop up and Ad Blockers. More complete tab browsing control than either Firefox or Internet Explorer 7.

  Weaknesses: Lacks a built in spell-checker. Only one search tool built in (Google).

  Overall Evaluation: This product is constantly being updated to surpass anything else released. It uses Microsoft IE 7 engine for superb rendering and security features. When it comes to getting where you want to go FAST, this is the toolset for the NET. Rendering times on test pages are 50 % faster than Firefox 2.0.1 (even with Ad Blocker Plus extension). If you use search engines other than Google, you can "Bookmark" them and keep them on the Links toolbar. If you really need the drop down changes, IE7 and Firefox 2.0.1 have them there already. This fine application also utilizes the mouse third wheel to swich between tabs. I have used this product for nearly 3 years now, and it only gets better with age. I am currently on ver 11.0 Build 43 . I am sure that more features will be soon available. Would recommend this product to nearly anyone, as it runs on both IE6 or IE7 engines. Microsoft could take a few hints from this design (also "skinnable") to update the offering of Internet Explorer.
