Description of Bulk Rename Utility
As the project you're working starts to balloon, it gets hard to remember which files pertain to what. You may want to rename some files to help you keep everything organized. With this utility, you can rename groups of files or folders in one fell swoop. You can perform string substitutions, add date-stamps, add or remove specified digits or characters, and make other useful changes. A preview shows you what the new names will be, so you can change your work before committing to renaming.
Bulk Rename Utility is free, but the author accepts donations through his Web site.
