Description of CD Anywhere

CDs seem a lot less compact when you're schlepping several of them. This utility creates up to 23 virtual CD ROM drives on your computer, allowing you to run your CD-based programs without touching the "cup-holder." You can use a virtual and a physical CD at the same time--for instance, you can listen to a music CD while running your programs off a virtual CD. This program lets you store multiple CDs, so you can save time by running multi-disc programs without swapping out the physical discs. Travel lighter with your laptop by leaving your CDs and bulky external CD drive back at the office--and work longer knowing that your battery is spared the substantial power drain of the CD drive.
