Description of MinMaxExtender
We're all so used to maximizing and minimizing windows on our desktop, we hardly can imagine any alternatives. MinMaxExtender offers some useful ones. It adds new buttons next to the Minimize/Maximize button, which let you stretch your windows across the screen, hide them in tray icons, roll the window into the title bar, or command one window to stay on top. You can exclude some window types from these options and make less-used button invisible.
Note: Although the vendor no longer supports this program, it worked well on our test system.
