Crazy Browser is a freeware web browser, which isn't much of a
distinction now that every major browser is also free. (Yes, kids,
there was a time when you paid for browsers.) The creators do,
however, distinguish their product with a few unusual features and
functions.
The program supports tabbed browsing--nothing new at this
point--but does add the very nice ability to collect tabs into
groups and then load an entire group at once. For example, I put PC
World, MacWorld, and Slashdot into a group I called 'ComputerNews'.
I can then load all three by a single menu selection. This feature
is very useful for research, as you can summon a set of related
sites as needed, without manually opening each one. (Firefox allows
you to open all the bookmarks in a folder, but not to have logical
groupings which are not related to folders.)
The browser also supports 'mouse gestures', which let you navigate
without clicking buttons or typing keys. Hold the right mouse
button down, sweep right to left, and you go back; left to right,
and you go forward. The gestures take some learning, but in time,
they would likely become second nature.
Also included are many content filtering features. The program
comes pre-configured to block many types of ads and popups.
Unfortunately, Crazy Browser is very much a small-team project. The
interface is functional, but ugly, and quirky in places. To close a
tab, you must go to the upper-right corner and click a close box
there, instead of there being a close box on the tab itself. The
toolbars use generic icons. It auto-imported my Explorer bookmarks,
but didn't ask about Opera or Firefox. Development on the program
seems to have stopped; the last beta was in February 2006.

Strengths: This is a new version 3.0.0 just out. There is a loading window on each tab to show progress. There is a colored encryption icon on the task bar. I have not run into any problems. I used the earlier version for two years.
Weaknesses: Same issues as mentioned by others, no x on each tab to eject from the tab.
Overall Evaluation: Way more reliable than chrome, way nicer than IE, way easier than any and also better than mozilla which seemed to crash and have problems with different sites like espn 360. Excellent browser

Strengths: Although I just downloaded this browser this morning I have found it to be compact, yet full of many functions the main stream browsers have. It's fast and has, so far, linked every site that I requested with ease. I also like the F2 and F3 feature to page forward or backward through your tabs.
Weaknesses: I think the author should add an option on the tab feature to include an 'X' on each tab to be able to close them rather than having to click on them for a drop down window or to have to CTRL-W on the currenrt tab to close it.
Overall Evaluation: This browser reminds me a lot of SLIMBROWSER, which I have been using now for about a year and love it. Anything but IE7 or 8! I will continue to use Crazy Browser to see if it is stable.
