Editor's Review of Maxthon
Maxthon borrows Internet Explorer's basic features, grafting on tabbed browsing and newsfeed support (for IE 6 users) and ad blocking, mouse gestures, and skins. (If you make a donation to Maxthon International, you can also enable a bookmark upload service).
Maxthon also pre-populates the browser with handy newsfeeds and site- and content-specific plugins. As we went to press, the company had released a beta of version 2.0, featuring a cleaner program layout, a more customizable interface, and multiple user profiles.
