Don't want the bells and whistles of a full-blown browser protection program--but need better pop-up protection than a freebie can provide? Pop-Up Stopper Basic covers the middle ground, eliminating pop-up and pop-unders without separating you from much of your cash. This ad blocker doesn't let ads slow you down for even a moment, because it halts the intrusive ads before they can load on your system. If you like pop-ups at certain sites--say, at sites that advertise specials and discounts in pop-ups--you can whitelist those URLs to keep seeing everything they have to offer.
Basic is the middle sibling of the Pop-Up Stopper family. The Free edition blocks pop-ups, but not pop-unders. The Professional edition does everything Basic does--plus it cleans histories, cache, cookies, etc. to protect privacy and hard drive space.
