Duration of ownership: 2 Days
Strengths: This does everything MS office does, is a pretty fast download, and has very straight-forward UI. And of couse, it's free!
Weaknesses: The UI isn't as is polished as MS, can be a pain to your eyes after long periods of use.
Overall Evaluation: This is the best free office product out there, it contains everything you need. Not much features, just straightforward, and being straightforward it has no problems at all. It does everything MS office does, absolutely everything, just looks differnt and the UI is a bit hard to use, but after all, it's free!

Duration of ownership: 1 Years
Strengths: Reads all of my Microsoft Office 2000 documents. The price is right (free).
Weaknesses: Takes a bit of time to load the first time you use it after a PC restart.
Overall Evaluation: I primary use the Writer and Calc modules. I didn't have any problems converting my Office 2000 documents to OpenOffice format. I can easily export my Writer documents as .pdf files. Does everything I've wanted it to do in the two modules I've used.
