Description of AceMoney Lite

Are you always asking "Where does the money go?" If you're brave enough to find the answer, AceMoney Lite will give it to you. The tool tracks your spending habits, generating a report by category or payor/payee. For example, you can generate pie charts that show how much money you spent on food, hobbies, or books. The program also lets you create and manage budgets, with more than 100 predefined spending categories. Finally, you can track the performance of your investments, be they in a 401(k), stock options, or an employee stock purchase plan. You don't need to enter stock quotes manually, either: AceMoney will download them from the Internet.

  Duration of ownership: 65 Months

  Strengths: Great little program that completely replaces Quicken and MS Money. The other reviewer who stated that it is not free most likely confused AceMoney Lite (freeware) with the full version of AceMoney ($30). AceMoney Lite is really free, but only allows to work with two accounts.

  Weaknesses: It supports direct downloads from the most US banks, but not European banks.

  Overall Evaluation: Great little program, highly recommended!

  Strengths: couldn't careless.It may be a excellent program but it was allowed to be passed off as free for personal use but when I downloaded it I was hit with this is not free software before the installer was even closed.I just hope It doesn't cause any problems when I yank it out.
