    Duration of ownership: 0 Days

Strengths: Quick download from Microsoft's developer site, a fantastic easy way to monitor your system.

Weaknesses: You have to be at least marginally computer literate to understand what you are seeing.

Overall Evaluation: A terrific addition to any system. If you are a geek at heart, explore the tools available to you.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Days

Strengths: It lists a lot of items -- as to what it tells you, I'm not sure I know more than before I installed this.

Weaknesses: It took days to download, finally it did (slowly). I didn't feel I really understood those mysterious items anymore than I did before this program.

Overall Evaluation: Probably not worth while. If you're a tech enough to understand what this program tells you, you probably didn't need this program. Save your bandwidth.

    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

Strengths: Process Explorer tells you at a glance which processes are robbing your available CPU usage and what the Commit charge is. I have used thi freeware on several occasions to just monitor things and to resolve issues that are problematic. The available "Kill Process" can turn things off that are running in the background.

    Weaknesses: None noted.

Overall Evaluation: Five star freeware utility. Thanks PC World.
