Description of Blinx v2.0 Beta

This search tool creates folders in your PC and automatically populates them with documents grabbed from your hard drives and the Internet. Instead of relying only on keyword-based queries, Blinkx reads users' screens and, based on that contextual information, flags documents from their PCs and from the Internet. The program can index files on your hard drive, the so-called desktop search capability that big vendors such as Google, Microsoft, America Online, and Yahoo are also pursuing. This latest edition includes a feature called Smart Folders, which automatically update their content as new information becomes available. Blinkx works unobtrusively in the background and displays search results when prompted by the user.
