Description of Windows Communicator
Windows Communicator - universal chat client,based on ICQ and IRC functionality and solutions. Application can work on Local Area Networks as well as over the Internet. Basic application functions: sending public messages private chat private message secure channels remote screenshot remote execution list running application remote shutdown/reboot/logoff/wake up other Note : Each of listed above spy functions may be blocked by users. Identification. Users status is displayed as icon. Icon color depends on current user status. For example, users that are currently online appears in users list as green icon, not available users-blue icon. The red color means the user asks you not to disturb, you cannot send him message box, the only way to contact is to leave your message in private chat window. The DND state guarantee that you won't receive message boxes and the application won't popup or become active. You can also group users (i.e. by location) By entering to User Details dialog you are able to read more detailed informations about users like: computer name, IP number, EMail, Operating System, Windows Communicator version, unique network interface card number (MAC address). Application also checks for FTP/HTTP/Telnet accessibility and user left or join time. The next, hidden function is Message Filter. This is good solution for young Windows Communicator users who shouldn't read vulgar messages. By pressing Ctrl+Shift+F you launch window that allows you to define vulgar words list and enable/disable filtering. Built in Windows Communicator Server the SMS gateway allows your users to send SMS messages via mobile phone connected to computer with running Windows Communicator Server.
