The default soundtrack is satisfyingly spooky, but you can elect to play your own tunes. You can also choose the time of day and change the overall tint of the scene.
This demo did not display nag screens in my tests. (The vendor says this screen saver is Windows Vista-compatible, but I did not test it in that OS.) After three days you can pay $10 to keep it, or buy it in a pack of five Halloween screen savers for $26.
3D Ghost Ship would be great for teens and adults; small children may be frightened by some of the ghostly pirates.
