Editorial Review of AMUST Registry Cleaner
If you're looking for a way to fix PC problems--or speed up sluggish performance,--this Registry cleaner might help. It scans your Registry for a variety of problems, in Internet Explorer, in Microsoft Office, and in the operating system itself. Then, it makes recommendations on which to fix, although you can override its suggestions. After that, it makes the fixes. Make sure that you tell the program to back up your Registry before a scan, so that you can revert to an earlier version if there are any problems.
The program has a number of nice extras as well, including a Registry compactor that will compact your Registry for better performance. There's also a scheduler so that you can have the program run automatically and fix problems for you. And you can also create an "Ignore list" for you, so that it won't try to fix Registry entries that you know are valid.
Note: This program will not work with Windows Vista. Also, the trial version will fix only a limited number of Registry issues. For example, on my test system, it reported on 851 problems, but would only fix 33 of them unless I registered.
