This toolset for creating, editing, and modifying icons and cursors has been around since the dawn of Windows, and its latest incarnation incorporates support for Windows Vista's high-resolution icons and image compression.
Four individual programs make up the set: Explorer, Librarian, Studio, and Animator. The Explorer functions like Windows Explorer, except it searches specifically for icon and cursor sets.
The Librarian provides access to icon libraries and allows you to duplicate, modify, or replace existing libraries, or create new ones. The Studio is where you'll create and edit icons and cursors, while Animator helps you get things moving. Instructions and templates are provided. Note: This program crashed during normal use. Other users have reported concerns about stability and non-intuitive operations.
