Not happy with your current media player? Then it's time to switch to this freebie, which is surprisingly full featured for a no-cost player. It plays many kinds of audio and video files, of course, and also lets you rip music, burn CDs, and even record music from a variety of incoming sources. A very nice plus is its built-in Internet radio player, which displays dozens of Internet-based radio stations.
Those tired of confusing media players will welcome its stripped-down interface and simple way of browsing for files. Another nice plus is that you don't even have to use the main player controls--a nifty little bar appears across the bottom of your screen that lets you listen to music, rip music, burn CDs and more.
Note that when you install this software, by default it will install the Yahoo Toolbar and make Yahoo your default search engine. If you don't want that to happen, make sure to uncheck the boxes before installation.
