Description of FindMX Record
The MX record finder utility. Usually MX record work as SMTP server. Useful for check SMTP of any email. FindMX supports windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP. MX record is the mail exchange server of each domain name. When you send mail, two SMTP servers connect together. Usually your ISP's SMTP can send email to any recipients and accept from any sender within their network. But the recipient's SMTP will receive the email that send to their domain only. Specially, you can send mail by connect directly to the recipient's SMTP by use their MX record. In this case, you will bypass your ISP's SMTP. Some ISPs won't allow you connect to the other SMTP via port 25. They must force you to use only their SMTP because they are very panic about spam email. Conclusion, MX record is the SMTP server. Some domain name have two or more MX record for load balancing. The lower number of preference is the higher priority.
