Description of Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Microsoft's browsing juggernaut is pretty much ubiquitous. Internet Explorer seldom has trouble rendering a Web page correctly; in fact, many Web pages are designed for IE and will work only with IE. It offers extensive control over privacy and security concerns. Internet Explorer 6 is fast, smooth, and easy to customize. IE also allows you to permanently store a page, along with the pages it links to, on your hard drive for offline viewing--great for researchers.
