Description of Festoon Beta
Google Talk and Skype work beautifully, but neither offers video--until you install Festoon. This add-on adds video calling capabilities to these two instant-messenger/VoIP programs. Festoon also lets users of these two services make calls to each other, a pleasant and unexpected bit of interoperability. With the EyeCandy video effects feature, you can add special effects, such costumes and funhouse mirrors, to your live video.
