Description of BeInSync

You don't need to keep e-mailing files to yourself to make sure you always have access to the documents you need. BeInSync keeps folders, files, Internet Explorer favorites, and Outlook e-mails and contacts automatically synchronized between as many as five computers. BeInSync uses peer-to-peer technology to share your data automatically--and almost instantly--between all your computers. And when you're on the road, you can access your data via any Web browser.

Once BeInSync is installed on each of the computers you use, you specify which data you'd like to sync, whether it's your entire desktop or simply certain folders. Whenever you modify existing files, or create or delete any items in these folders, the changes are automatically sent to your other computers.

BeInSync also allows you to share data with friends or colleagues. You send a "Share Invitation" to one or more users to create a shared folder that will be kept in sync on everyone's PC. You can set up a group share with up to ten users.

Note: You can download the full version of BeInSync for 30 days. After 30 days, you can upgrade to the full version, or keep using the free basic version, which limits the daily number of items transferred. With either version, you will only be able to share files with users or computers running BeInSync 1.6 or higher.
